Considering enrolling at Seaforth Childcare?
We’d be honoured to have your family join our Centre, and to guide your child’s very special early learning journey. Here’s a little info about Seaforth Childcare and what we offer, so you can get a feel for what we’re all about.
How to enrol
Fill out our wait list form and a member of our team will be in contact with you shortly to discuss your family’s needs. We’ll be able to advise you if your chosen days are available and send you an enrolment package.
Seaforth Childcare opens 7am-6.30pm Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year. We are not open on weekends or public holidays.
Ages we cater for
We provide education and care for children aged 0-6. Our environment is set up to foster all aspects of the child’s developmental stages.
Our fees change annually. For our current fee schedule, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 99485546.
Securing your child’s place
Once enrolment is accepted, a refundable bond (two weeks’ fees) is paid to secure your child’s position. The bond will be returned once care has ended. We do not charge wait list fees.
We offer families individual tours at a time that’s convenient to you. It’s easy to book a childcare tour of our centre here. [link to Calendy page]
Minimum attendance days
We recommend booking a minimum of two days for each child you’re putting into childcare, to help them adjust more easily to their new surroundings. This allows your little one to settle in, benefit from all the activities on offer and start building strong relationships with carers and other children.
Meals and nutrition
We provide all meals and snacks throughout the day which are tailored by Kids Gourmet Food (KGF) and delivered fresh to us daily. KGF work with nutritionists and dieticians and consult with national advisory groups to ensure the highest nutritional standards. To support working families, we also provide a breakfast and dinner option at no charge for children under 2.
Nappies and formula
We provide nappies, S26 formula, nappy cream, sunblock and sheets for babies and toddlers under 2.
To ensure the highest standards of care, we recruit only the most qualified and experienced staff. Employees must share our philosophy and be committed to creating a warm, loving and secure environment for children to learn and grow. In addition to our core staff, we also employ two Educational Leaders to drive our curriculum, a Quality and Compliance Manager, WHS officer and a Sustainability champion.
Government rebates and family benefits
To make Child Care Subsidy claims, families need to go to mygov.com.au and sign in to access their Centrelink online account. If you don’t have a MyGov account, you can create one and link it to your Centrelink online account.
We offer a range of extracurricular programs at no extra cost, including our Artist in Resident Program and Bonjour French Classes. We also provide yoga and relaxation, Fit and Healthy Programs, our Pre-School Transition to School Program and more. For more info on all our extracurricular activities, please click here.
Our SunSmart policy
The staff at Seaforth Child Care adhere to a number of SunSmart practices to ensure the safety of the children. Children and Educators are strictly required to wear hats throughout the year and also required to wear sun protection when the UV is over 3 during outdoor play. Educators check the UV rating several times a day to ensure it is safe to be outdoors.
