Our story

Seaforth Childcare was founded by my family in 1991. Both my children, who are now teenagers, started their early education here at Seaforth Childcare. Over the years we have created a child care service that is not just professional and trusted, but also offering a genuinely caring and nurturing environment for children.

“As a parent I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your child in the care of others. That’s why we work hard to create an inclusive and nurturing “home away from home” environment, where your child’s needs are supported by patient, empathetic staff.”

As a privately run service we’re able to respond to the needs of your child and your family quickly.  We also pride ourselves on providing a more personal service than many of the corporate childcare centres in Sydney.

I place great importance on ensuring our team of educators are at the top of their field and committed to their roles in supporting you and your child.

My role is predominantly around guiding the overall direction of our service and running the administration.  I support our Director, Sophie and Quality Assurance Manager, Danielle in their roles, ensuring that day in day out you can rely on an extraordinary experience with us

Our history

Seaforth Childcare was once the traditional home of the Guringai people.  We acknowledge and respect the values and customs of the Guringai people who are the traditional custodians of this land whereupon Seaforth Childcare is situated.  We pay our respects to the elders both past, present and emerging and welcome all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people to our Service.  At Seaforth Childcare, we accept the responsibility of developing an awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal history and culture and the diversity of the many cultures found within the Seaforth Childcare community which, we believe, strengthens and enriches our lives and the lives of our children.
